Charlie is an ex-professor turned reluctant call center employee who gets fired on the first day. Distraught at being unable to provide for his daughter Emily and wife Penelope, he accepts when Gus, an aspiring scam artist who presents Charlie with a seemingly snag-free plan to make some cash. The plan is to blackmail Reverend Smalls, a man of the cloth, who's frequently turned up in the company database of visitors to illegal porn sites. Gus plans to extort Reverend Smalls, with the intention of publicly exposing his secret shame should he refuse, thus potentially destroying the man's career. Normally cautious, Charlie is keen on participating in this scam, confident that the money he'll make from the scam will finally help turn things around for him and his family. Joined by one-time teenage pageant queen Josie McBroom, Gus's ex, the plan goes ahead, but it all goes wrong as Reverend Smalls dies thanks to this trio, with this only being the start of their troubles.

musicOMH.comAnton BitelTense, cruel and hilariously absurd all at once, it may, as its title suggests, not add up to so very much, but it is a deliciously entertaining journey into the night which, at under 90 minutes, never overstays its welcome.
DVDTalk.comDavid CorneliusA work of dark comic insanity that never gets away from itself.
Reel Film ReviewsDavid Nusair...one of the most refreshingly mean-spirited comedies to come around in quite some time.
User ReviewLucinda Dvu le 13-12-2008 film à voir absolument
User ReviewFwah S"Big Nothing" is a highly underated Dark Comedy that will keep you guessing all the way through. The story is intelligent, The cast are fantastic and the pace of the movie never slowls down. Full of brilliant idea's, this movie is a pleasent surprise and deserves a lot more praise than it originally received.
User ReviewRob RExcellent!!!! A simple enough blackmailing plan doesn't go according to plan. Neither does anything else that happens during the film.
User ReviewMark FWell this sucked in every department. all the gags were used up in the first 5 minutes and then this turned into a poorly scripted very unimaginative and unrealistic b-rate movie. Terrible.
User ReviewAnnine MNever had heared of the movie before I saw it. It's real black comedy, but EXCELLENT!!! I cryed tears, because it was so funny. Can only recommend it!
User ReviewDoc>206 PageThis movie is Frickin Sweet! but sadly it does not beat the movie 'The Game'. If you like/love Big Nothing then you'll absoulutly LOVE 'The Game'!
User ReviewDalton HA gleefully dark and hilarious crime comedy that never wastes an ounce of energy. David Schwimmer and Simon Pegg are hilarious as two buddies who tries to reign in the chaos as the night goes from bad to worse. Highly recommended
