User ReviewKaren HI went to see this movie because I had met one of the directors while I was living in Berlin, and I thought it would be fun to see what they what kind of work they were doing. As it turns out, this documentary is excellent. It is a touching, intimate portrait of several punk bands in China. A must see if you are at all interested in how music can represent cultural change. The soundtrack is amazing.
User ReviewChristina Bi have seen a lot better in documentary but still i learned a bit of things about the chinese punk culture
User ReviewMax RRock and punk culture in China's capital, this documentary doesn't break any new grounds - plainly plays out without any significant commentary or revelation.
User ReviewEvan KEhh. Looks more promising but had too many downsides. I think most of the music is okay, just copying other established punk bands. Most of it was too Western sounding really, beside D9. And the style of the documentary isn't very punk, so it felt too common compared to the excentric subject of the film. And it roams, what is it trying to say? Maybe nothing, but it seems like there is so much to say, and nobody is saying it, that it should have said something, because i want to hear it.
