Digital SpyPriya JoshiIt is with some reluctance that we leave the beautiful world of Barfi!, but we do so with the knowledge that the Kapoor family legacy is safe in the hands of Ranbir, who can already lay claim to the title of the finest actor of his generation.
TheMovieReport.comMichael DequinaA moving work that is at once bittersweet and uplifting, and altogether charming.
Time OutAnil SinananThere is much to admire in this attempt to push the Bollywood envelope. It's rare for mainstream Hindi cinema to feature such sensitively drawn characters.
FilmfareRachit GuptaBarfi! is that rare film that can make you smile and make you cry in the same scene. Its technical brilliance is only outdone by its emotional complexity and depth.

Hindustan TimesAnupama ChopraThis is a film made with love, bolstered by wonderfully etched vignettes, Ranbir Kapoor's stupendous performance and a gorgeous soundtrack by Pritam. And yet, for me, Barfi was a singularly frustrating experience.

User ReviewArijit MA beautiful tale about three young people who learn that love can neither be defined nor contained by society's norms of normal and abnormal. Really heart warming and pleasant romantic movie which is also filled with lessons about selfless love. A very rare gem of bollywood which is always filled with commercial movies now a days. Ranbir acting as mute and deaf boy is incredible and reminded me of Charlie Chaplin. Priyanka Chopra also convinced everyone as mentally handicapped girl and she performed very well. The movie is also filled with mild tickling humour and keeps you entertained. It really great that it is shortlisted for Oscar nomination.. !!!! Must watch movie!!
