Examiner.comAdam LippeFoster's scenes where she is utterly surprised by Hopper's lack of knowledge of the world, are so inviting without being condescending, eerily reminiscent of how she responded to De Niro in Taxi Driver.
User ReviewPrivate UAnother action/lovestory that I like.. Dennis Hopper is great as always, stonefaced hitman that falls in love with Jodie Foster..
User ReviewTerri HReally well paced and enjoyable thriller.Hopper at his usual baddy best.
User ReviewBrendan PI think Dennis Hopper decided to call all of his friends and say "hey let go party, get hammered, and every once a while I'll turn a camera on." There really couldn't be another explaination for this movie. It's a stereotypical plot, Jodi Foster witnesses a murder and spends the rest of the time runnig from the mob. Hopper plays a hitman who falls in love with her. It turns into a poor mans Taxi Driver. The amazing cast includes Joe Pesci, Fred Ward, Vincent Price, John Turturro, Dean Stockwell, and Bob Dylan (in which he has only one scene and it involves a chainsaw). There's some decent scenes and a few humorous one (namely the one with Dylan). If your a fan of any of the above mentioned actors check it out. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend it.
User ReviewRachel BSuper cheesey but I kind of really liked this when I saw it.
User ReviewBill TPretty goofy movie that has an amazing cast (Jodie Foster! Dennis Hopper! John Turturro! Vincent Price! etc) about an LCD artist (don't ask) who has a hit placed on her, but the hitman falls in love with her, and soon, so does she! Dennis Hopper directs, and you know what that means.. Yeah, this just goes ALL over the place. But somewhat fun as you want to see what else this film has up it's sleeves (like John Turturro as Barton Fink as hitman!)
User ReviewJohn KThis is a glorious mess of a movie! Uncredited performances by Pesci, Dylan and much more, over the top in all respects. Hopper must have been completely insane when he made this.
User ReviewDavid DIf it's had three different titles you know it must be good.
User ReviewJ KThere's a reason why this film never took off. It was poorly written, which is surprising considering Dennis Hopper wrote it.
