User ReviewIvy KThis is the #1 film on the top 10 sickest films of all time list. Does it deserve to be there? Yes, this film is not just hard to watch, it's simply fucking disgusting. I could spend hours using my vast vocabulary to describe the insane levels of sickness contained in this film and it still wouldn't do it any justice and it's for this reason, the film is a masterpiece. This has been specifically shot to look like snuff and it accomplishes exactly that. It enduces vomit and that's before you get to the climax of pedo-necrophilia. For hardcore fans and collector's only.
User ReviewLiam JThis fake snuff film has been hailed as the sickest film of all time. This is probably the most insane film I have ever sat through, it takes a giant leap into some of the most insane scenes ever filmed. This made me sick but hey! thats what it's going for, I do not reccomend this to anyone who is easily offended, but if you feel like getting your blood pumping then hey! go for gold! I love fighting about this film, from a filmmaking perspective its a brilliant exercise in ultra-low budget horror. It hits the nail right on the head, I can guarantee that no film will effect you like mordum will. I got as far has the scene where all the girls are throwing up into eachothers mouths and had to wait a couple of months to finish it. Fred Vogal is a SFX master and truely shows off his talent in this film.
User ReviewEric SMY GOD what is wrong with you people? this is by far one of the most inventive movies in the history of cinema... god BLESS toetag... Calling this movie dull is like saying the marquise de sade is not erotic... by far my favorite movie i have seen in the past 5 years.... only edged out by of course the original TCM... Cant WAIT for maskhead.... although i will say murder collection vol. 1 was a bit.... whats the word im looking for... plotless... but so was the point of it... so i digress... amazing efforts from all involved toetag is by far the saving grace of modern horror...
User ReviewAndrew SThis movie really grabs onto the last dying look of the VHS shot on video movies. Effects and gore in this movie are fucking wonderful to look at. NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH A WEAK STOMACH. there is a legit 10 minute scene where this girl is torturing 2 other girls and puking on them and doing things to them, this movie is a lot more extreme than the first one, and should not be missed. Watch it! 5/5
User Reviewelisa kAnd you thought Mickey & Mallory Knox had issues! The mass murdering couple from Oliver Stone and Quentin Tarantino's "Natural Born Killers" ain't got shit on the trio of marauding murderers in Pennsylvania-based Toe Tag Pictures' "August Underground" sequel, titled "August Underground's MORDUM"! According to their official website, "August Underground's MORDUM" is "sequel to the cult classic "August Underground", is a character study in the sick: an amoral, putrid, masturbatory fantasy. The found footage contained in "August Underground's MORDUM" documents extreme deviant sexuality, torture, and murder, while unfolding a classic tale of a man and woman in love. However, the woman cannot give up her other lover, who also happens to be her younger brother. Exploiting the trio of killers and their deviant ways with issues such as child abuse, incest, rape, and their effects on the human psyche, "August Underground's MORDUM" will vomit all over you and leave you for dead." That alone should offer you a little peak into the heart (and guts) of this film. It's sick. It's twisted. It's offensive. And it's brilliant. The film is done in the 'found footage' style, and is essentially 90 minutes of a simulated snuff film, detailing the murderous exploits of a psychotic trio of sadistic, sexually deviant people who, when they're not rocking out at death metal clubs, or robbing their local retailer, are on the prowl for their next victim, searching for someone whom they can abduct, chain up, vomit on, rape, torture, cut up, force into self mutilation and eventually murder. And these three do not discriminate. No matter your age or sex, you are a potential toy/victim. The only other time when they are not committing obscenely violent crimes, is when they are engaging in sick and twistedly angry sex with each other, be it the lead psycho (played brilliantly by Toe Tag co-founder Fred Vogel, who also co-wrote, co-directed and produced the film) having angry sex with his girlfriend Crusty (played, with great joy, or so it would seem, by Cristie Whiles, who is sadistically adorable in the role.) moments after murdering someone, or Crusty willingly having sex with her younger brother Maggot. (played by Michael Schneider. Schneider is incredibly willing as an actor is in this film, going to great extremes for the role. It's a shame that the actors who make millions per role don't have a tenth of the devotion to their trade that actors like Schneider, Whiles and Vogel have.) The film also co-stars Necrophagia frontman Killjoy. If you're looking for a film with a happy ending or one with all the answers, then this is not the movie for you. "MORDUM" is an unapologetic, balls-out horror film! The realism of both the actors as well as the special FX is amazing. No CGI crap here. Only some of the most believable and realistic physical FX in this one. Would I recommend "MORDUM"? Not to most people. But if you are a hardcore horror fan, and not easily upset or disturbed, then by all means, yes, you need to see this film! Allow me to put it this way, if you've seen "A Serbian Film" and found it disturbing or hard to watch, then "MORDUM" is perhaps not for you. "A Serbian Film", due to it's decent sized budget, bright lights, and "big studio" look, is far less realistic and disturbing than "MORDUM" is. While watching this, I found that I had to, at times, remind myself that it's only a movie. Naturally, I knew that, but it feels so real that, as you watch it, sometimes it felt as though I was watching a snuff film, as opposed to a horror movie. It's THAT well done. For this, I say BRAVO to Vogel and the rest of the gang at Toe Tag Pictures. I give "August Underground's MORDUM" 5 out of 5 stars, but as I mentioned, it is not something that most viewers could handle. If you chose to check it out, remember, you have been warned.
User ReviewJustin OSeriously unbelievable. I really thought I'd seen it all. Makes Cannibal Holocaust look tame in comparison. I don't suggest anybody watch this unless you're completely ready for it. And you probably won't be.
User ReviewJosef HThis one will get a reaction out of you. Interesting plot. New characters add interesting dynamics. Check out the deleted scenes.
User ReviewDigger MI hate it when people watch a movie like this, then go on and on about how "bad" they think it is, and only "sadists" could enjoy it. This is one of the best movies ever. Genius direction, writing, acting, effects. Yes, it's gross. Yes, the action is morally abominable. If you're not cool with that, don't watch it. If you like realism in violence, I mean to the point to where you can't tell if it's real or not, then you will probably like this movie. The actors look like anybody you would see in the grocery store, as do the victims. The camera work looks like some asshole with a camera phone recording the chaos as it unfolds, as I'm sure the makers intended. So quit whining, hold on to your lunch, and prepare to be appalled and sickened like never before...or just go watch my little pony...whatever.
User ReviewLinus CThe most sick ,twisted, deranged, disgusting, disturbing movie I ever seen. I had to look away many times throughout the movie. I like disturbing movies but this is over the top. One scene I almost puked, if i didn't look away I would have. I recommend this movie to anyone who loves disturbing movies. Iv seen many disturbing movies but this is my # 1 distributing movie of all time.
