User Review - 10/10 by Jeshwanth Mwow wat a acting... wat a screen play.. wat a story..wat a direction..simply superb.. mahesh's acting is sharp and clean.with powerful dialogues ..also good comedy between by the heroin and comedians..great background music..u will feel like a hollywood movie! and also prakash raj's acting is gud though we know he will do full justice for any character finally i want to say the movie rocks!!!!!!!!

User Review - 10/10 by Karthik CAthadu is a well crafted Crime-Action-Thriller.The stunt sequences in and the natural dialogues keep the audience at the edge of their seat. Mahesh Babu steals the show with his acting.The only thing I found negative about Athadu was too much song sequences which were not necessary , the songs were picturised in a linear manner but they popped out of nowhere , some audience would feel uncomfortable. But the director Trivikram Srinivas makes them ignore the average songs with his screenplay and twists . Overall the film is a cult classic.

To top it, brilliant actors like Nassar, Prakash raj who add their screen presence to this movie. Mahesh Babu as always walks away with all the applause!!!

A political leader Shiva Reddy wants someone to attempt an assassination on him so that he could get more votes through sympathy. On the day of the murder attempt, before Nandu gets to shoot Shiva Reddy, someone else fatally shoots Shiva Reddy. Police tracks down Nandu, assuming he is the murderer. From there Nandu persues his search to find the real assassin while impersonating as a decessed Pardhu who ran away from his village at his young age and shot by police in a cross fire during a gun-fight with Nandu.
