| User ReviewAllan CPatrick O'Neal is a private eye hired to investigate a shipping magnate suspected of deliberately sinking his own ships as part of an insurance scam. As with most thrillers of this sort, O'Neal gets caught up in all sorts of murder and intrigue. Overall, it's an okay thriller, though this story is rather humdrum. However, the strong cast elevates the bland story. O'Neal is particularly good and is an actor who I've always like and felt was painfully underused. The same could be said for the beautiful Joan Hackett. John Gielgud and Herbert Lom round out the strong supporting cast, who do make the film worth watching. |
