User Reviewmarchus wIt is a war movie made by the guys who makes films for scify and it shows, really poor cgi work and some pretty bad acting. However there are some good points one of the best is the bad guy played by Tino Struckmann he is a great actor in a little film, his performance is by far the best part of this film. Some tanks and guns but the bad cgi pulls me out of the scenes. I only hope Struckmann will be really appreciated for his performance and get a chance for bigger movies worthy of his talent.
User ReviewPeter CI will honestly say I agree with Wellers review, the only good thing about this movie was watching Tino Struckmann, by far the best actor in this cast. He did a great performance leaving me wanting more and the biggest downfall of this film is that there is not more scenes with him as the lead bad guy. and let's just not talk about the horribly CGI, why would they use that when they apparently had a few real tanks?
User Reviewjamie aI was never a fan of those bad CGI effects they always use in the SciFi movies and did not know is was them who made this movie. so now it makes sense. Thank you for clearing that up Marchus, it was pretty damn bad, the Lead GI and the girl in distress were awful actors, I expect they never did any acting before but were cheap. But I do agree the lead Evil German officer did a great job, I even watched the making of the movie and honestly they should just have made it all with him. Solid actor who seem to work over hard to carry this film. Fighting his way up stream against the bad CGI was an impossibly task for Struckmann. Give him something in a bigger role in bigger films and leave the rest as extras.
User ReviewDean MSomeone clearly watched Fury and thought "I can make a quick buck off of this". Crap CGI that should of been sent back to the early 90s video game that it came from, dialogue and even worser accents that may as well of been read on flashcards, even the fucking battle --The Battle of the Bulge is historically goofed in this film, where is the snow? DO NOT WATCH.
User ReviewStuart SI watch about the first 3 minutes of this trash. As an historian and quite familiar with US Army operations in Western Europe (my father was an infantry man wounded in the Hurtgan Forest) they got it all wrong from the get go. First they are crewing an M 18 Hellcat tank destroyer. This is not a tank, it has an open turret for one thing. Its high velocity 76 mm gun was capable of destroying a Tiger tank as shown in the movie. However, not with a head on shot as shown. It needed to hit the sides, turret or rear. Also, Hellcats were the fastest armor fighting vehicle of WWII hit 50 miles in flat open country. They were designed to shoot and scoot and not sit ideally in the open. Second, there were TD units crewed by blacks but there were no integrated crews. Integrated units came under Harry Truman at the end of the 1940s. Third, the non-CGI generated German tank was actually a Russian T-34. While the Germans routinely used captured armor especially the T-34, they didn't use them on the Western Front. Can I give this less than 1 star? It deserves a negative rating.
User ReviewSunil YLeft to their own device and a little bit of luck, our gallant tank crew would have decimated the whole German Reich and its minions. This sums up what the movie is about. An added plus is lot of opportunities for a hearty laugh and for the serious - a lot of tips how not to make a war movie. The cast did seem very serious though !
