| User ReviewJY SIt may be a short, but Aaron Sims dazzles with some nice visuals in Archetype. With roughly 7 minutes to showcase, which includes the closing credits, the story really feels like a piece of a larger puzzle; however, what is unveiled is more than enough to welcome expansions into this technologically advanced universe. The visuals are impressive and that isn't surprising given Sims' resume in the art and effects department. The look of the so-called combat robots and brief background scenery are intriguing and the limited action that takes place, which involves robots taking on humans, brings up the want for more. There isn't much in the way of the cast. David Anders provides a good voice for robot RL7 while Robert Joy shows signs of a lead antagonist.Archetype is a plus with what it delivers, but the abrupt run time is a let down. Easy to make time for. |
