Walt decides to stay with his awkward aunt and her family, whose denial makes his search nearly impossible. He accepts a job in a local antique mall where his boss quickly offers him the possibility of a management position; however, a mean-spirited co-worker isn't pleased by his new competition and proceeds to sabotage any chance Walt has. Walt then meets ELLIE (Ashley Greene), an eccentric and crude free spirit who still manages to be irresistibly charming. He finds himself completely enamored, though both are hesitant to pursue a relationship. Walt ends up not only finding out who his father really was, but learns more about himself than he ever thought possible.

Arkansas Democrat-GazettePiers MarchantThere isn't all that much here to stick to your ribs, but its smooth finish goes down like a frigid limeade on a scorching afternoon.
Film ThreatAyurella Horn-MullerA sweet, wistful piece, it is difficult to ignore the agonizingly slow way it gets to its main point – forgiven only because of a strong ensemble that adds considerable weight to the picture.
Eye for FilmJennie KermodeA smartly observed film with a sweet centre, Antiquities takes old themes and polishes them up until they shine.
Movie NationRoger MooreGreene has a lot more to play than West, but truthfully, the leads seem like bemused anchors for the funnier characters to bounce off of. That’s sitcom writing.
User ReviewShannon LGreat performance from a great cast. This film presented a young man, Walt (Andrew West), trying to discover who his recently deceased father dad was by walking in his shoes (almost literally) only to discover who he was. The eclectic cast of characters provided a backdrop that fills the screen with laughter, anger and empathy. Breakout star, Roger Scott (Blundale), portrays a crotchety supporting character that provides comedic relief yet can invoke downright anger.
User ReviewGarrett Bthis is a funny heartwarming film that is smart and witty set in Arkansas there are many beautiful shots of the natural state in the fall as well as some exceptional acting from some well known actors I definitely recommend this film to anyone who wants a good laugh and wants to be touched
User ReviewFrancesco SThe beauty of this film is in its simple and effective storytelling. In a time where so many films feel as though they are trying to dazzle you with effects or an unnecessary plot twist, Antiquities does the opposite. Nothing feels forced, each actor gives a great performance(telling loads about the great direction given), and it engages the viewer in a way that allows them to fall in love with each of these characters. Antiquities is a well executed story that definitely hits its mark.
User ReviewJosh MLoved the cast, especially breakbout actor, Roger Scott!
