As the recording of a TV show has come to an end, a popular television presenter, Michelle Carlsson, is mysteriously killed. Annika Bengtzon, a workaholic and a criminal reporter at the tabloid Kvällspressen, takes the chance to escape from a holiday celebration with her husbands family and drives off to the manor where ten suspects are being held for interrogation by the police.
