User ReviewVincent GJuste excellent. Très touchant. Très lourd mais d'autant plus réel.
User ReviewLa JBEST MOVIE IN WIDE WHOLE WORLD!
User ReviewGabriel Lthat was certainly not what you would call cheerful. but it was really really good. but don't watch it if you're feeling sad because it will make you want to kill yourself. or maybe it will make you realize that your life isn't actually that bad. anyways...
User ReviewGérald PThis is a very moving and intimate portrayal of troubled Québec youth, depicting poverty, youth gang life, drug use, and gay, bisexual, and straight sexual identities and lifestyles. The scene in a low-life tavern, when a local Montréal poet does a reading to musical accompaniment, is wonderfully evocative, moving, and just downright BEAUTIFUL. Alexandre Castonguay (as Francis) and Patrick Martin (as Éric), the youthful principal male protagonists, are both delectably lovely young men upon whom to gaze for the duration of such a film, and Castonguay has gone on to have an important career on stage and screen here in Québec, with several more films to his credit.
User ReviewYves PUn film tres bien ecrit. Yves
User ReviewPascal LThere are moments here so unbelievably, impossibly corny you'll almost forget this strange-sounding melodrama does indeed succeed in passing its message concerning the abandoned youths of today. Cast does not manage to give performances standing in the same range, but Bigras refuses to let go after he's clamped you in his fictional yet inspired downwards spiral.
