Boston Phoenix - 6/10 by Shaula ClarkWas the world clamoring for a comic-erotic lesbian tribute to Run Lola Run? Maybe not, but I have to hand it to directors Ellen Seidler and Megan Siler for Frankensteining this one together.
User Review - 10/10 by Sebastian KFinally a fun and sexy lesbian film that doesn't end in depression or death. It's light, it's fun...clever and the actors can actually act (always a plus). Everyone it seems is lesbian or gay in Lola's world. I thought the lead, Ashleigh Sumner was really great, as was Jill Bennett who played her girlfriend. They have some steamy scenes throughout the film, so what's not to like?
User Review - 10/10 by Alex TI saw this in a film festival last summer then ordered the Blu-ray from Amazon. Well worth watching these lovely ladies in HD. They hold up very well. Ashleigh Sumner was kick-ass as LOLA. She ran, and jumped, and charmed her way through the streets of San Francisco in a desperate quest to reach her girlfriend. The references to the German film Run, Lola, Run are obvious.....but this version is a much lighter affair that focuses mostly on lesbian relations (past and present) and what is the meaning of commitment. Lesbian angst is explored via the incestuous connections of past and present that are standard fare. There some clever use of still photos and animation which add to the over-the-top tone. It serves this lively romp quite well and I was pleased to see some sexy scenes among real lesbians. I also appreciate that at the film's end, I'm left with a big old grin on my face.

User Review - 8/10 by Roxanne RThis is definitely a gay movie all the way. I was at Blockbusters and the cover photo caught my eye as I glanced at the movies on the shelves. I think I heard of this movie from the Wolfe Video FB page but again totally forgot about it until I saw it on the shelf. I liked the protagonist (Lola played by Ashleigh Sumner) who is a photographer with a gf named Casey (Jill Bennett). So Lola gets a call from her gf telling her that she is in a tight spot and must get some prints that are vital for a meeting she has that afternoon with an Italian executive (played by Cathy DeBuono). Lola takes a mad dash through the streets of San Francisco as she races to pick up the prints at the photo shop, then deliver them to Casey at the club. So Lola has three chances to correct things and we are with it as she tries to do so. Ashleigh Sumner is delightful as Lola and Jill Bennett is good as her girlfriend. Each of the three chances that Lola has is a part of the film. One concerns a very butch meter maid, another involves a threesome and the third is about sex in an alley. Lola is not good at relationships probably because her heart is too flighty. This is a fun film and is perfect for an afternoon when you just want to escape the world. The movie is based on the German film, "Run Lola Run" and there are many similarities between the two films. The location is changed here and aside from a lot of fun we also get some beautiful shots of San Francisco. Recommended!

User Review - 6/10 by Ina SFun, sexy lesbian romance, loosely based on "Lola rennt/Run, Lola, Run". The low budgets shows, the acting is not always spot-on, but overall an enjoyable and very, very sexy movie. Ashleigh Summer is adorable and carries the film perfectly. I do recommend!
