In 1986, his young wife was brutally murdered in front of their only child, and he was accused and convicted of the crime, spending a quarter century in Texas prisons. His unreal dream was and is a powerful journey through despair and abandonment to a greater freedom than most of us know, but all can appreciate.

| User ReviewNick U12/9/15 Netflix Another great documentary that was even more interesting to me living in Houston and seeing this unfold in the press as the Innocence Project fought for his release and the wheels of justice turned on Judge Anderson. Lots of lives turned upside down by an unethical and ambitious DA, probably done more often than you think. |

The unbelievable true story of a man wrongfully convicted of murdering his wife, spending 25 years in jail essentially coming to terms with his situation and accepting it, then finally being set free by saints that relentlessly fought for him. |
