User ReviewDenise BPhenomenal. As an uber Who fan, I didn't really *learn* anything from it, but that didn't make it any less moving or enjoyable! After only viewing it once, I have yet to decide if I like it more than The Kids Are Alright. It's definitely close, though.
User Reviewroger ti truly enjoyed this documentary of one of my all-time favorite bands...highly recommended..
User ReviewEric SThe definite documentary about one of the finest bands ever to come out of Britain. Highly recommended.
User ReviewJD tLoved every minute of it. If you love or like The Who, check this documentary out as soon as you can. I have seen lots of concert footage but this doc goes deeper into the band's beginnings. I really enjoyed seeing those early shows in the clubs. Also, it was great to see the poster art as the band kept changing its name and members. Love seeing Keith Moon making Pete Townsend get even more wild. The early history between Townsend and Daltrey was especially noteworthy. Lastly, any chance to see the amazing John Entwiistle is a blessed one. You may be able to catch a repeat of this movie on VH1. Keep your eyes open.
User ReviewRyan G'Ave it. Stand up, salute The Who...............English rock n' roll rules the World.
User ReviewNatalee K"The bass line in 'My Generation'- if you could write that into words that's what you'd want on your grave stone, innit?" Noel Gallagher
User ReviewRichard GI have seen this on FOXTEL in Oz and it's ...a great insight into the personal and maturing musical struggles and emotional demons that have troubled this tight-knit band of musical souls ...from 'our generation'! :-) The documentary puts a solid focus on Keith Moon's and John Entwhistle's founding contributions ...that still endure despite the passing of ...so many years. That fact that The Who is still touring is a great legacy to their fire ...mixed with Pete & Roger's talent and showmanship. :-R
User ReviewMaddison NThe DVD that made the Who my favorite band!!
User ReviewDan Ma great story of the life and hardships of the who. I love how they would focus on one thing at a time, and how they separatly did the john, keith, pete and roger and asked many people from newer bands like pearl jam to give what they remember from the who.
User ReviewSean PBeing a big Who fan I love anything to do with them...and this didn't disapoint. Fasinating insight into what is..the Amazing Journey of The Who.
