User ReviewCarlos DThis has alot to say. I loved this from beginning to end
User Reviewcarlos vSocrates Fortlow is a hero not by super power but by being the change He wishes to see in the World.
User ReviewRoberto CThis movie inspires me in so many ways. It reminds me that no matter how bad things get or how many bad things you may have done, you can always pick yourself up and live your life.
User ReviewSonya GThis is a good movie. Lawrence fishburne was excellent in this movie
User ReviewCurt FOh this is an impossible film for me to review. It's based on one of my favouritest books, "Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned" by Walter Mosley and I like it so much, I can't view this film impartially at all. I might be recommending a made-for-tv-movie clunker here, I honestly can't tell, I'm just so pleased they put the big man up on the big screen... look, it's brilliant! Laurence Fishburne nails the role! Watch this film!! Sigh, ok, try to be impartial for one minute.... Always Outnumbered is a series of short stories (or one story with lots of bits to it) about fifty something ex-con Socrates Fortlow and the people he knows. Even though he doesn't wear a shiny costume and he can't fly, Socrates is a hero, though he'd not thank you for describing him like that, he's just trying to get by as best he can .... nope, I give up. Just read the book, ok? Or see the film. Or either. Or both! Watch it! It's brilliant!! etc etc
User ReviewSheron SProbably one of a handful of films I can watch over and over again. Very deep and meaningful. Tells u alot about society & morality. Laurence Fishburne was Socrates before he was morpheus... He'll always be socrates to me. Forget the colored pills
User ReviewJose' CExcellent and - might I add - unexpected jewel on redemption from one's past and a desire to contribute toward the posterity of others...
User ReviewTerrence WI first read Walter Mosley's book - the most meaningful of his vast work. Seeing this brought this excellent book to life. Fishburne's best role.
User ReviewDoug BBeautiful film. Fishburne should've got an oscar nomination for this role! Classic!
