| User Reviewalanpotter17Um filme correto, inofensivo, clichê, que ao menos não trata os adolescentes (?) como idiotas, a ponto de levantar temas importantes mas nunca saindo do convencional. Aliás, está bem dentro do padrão Netflix, seja em termos de roteiro ou construção de personagens, como em técnica de filmagem mesmo. Não há aqui absolutamente nenhum quadro inspirado, à exceção talvez seja após a festa em que Eli finalmente resolve ir (no ápice da festa, enquadrar os jovens como em uma moldura ficou muito bonito). Mesmo com o cenário da praia, ficou tudo bem enlatado, sem frescor algum. A bola foi jogada então para os personagens, e eles são simpáticos o suficiente para segurar a história. Eu gostei que, em torno da moça, não rolou uma rivalidade feminina besta, ao menos o filme teve a decência de não enveredar por um caminho mais fácil ainda, dando espaço para um romance de verão e uns dramas familiares com os pais sobre separação, que sinceramente é tratado de forma tão superficial quanto o enredo dos adolescentes. A meu ver o filme poderia ser centrado no Eli sem problema algum, Belmont Cameli tem mais expressão, e consegue em uma cena mostrar sua simpatia e na cena seguinte seu desconforto quando ele se defronta ao passado, baseado num pesado luto. Ele leva bem mais jeito que a moça, que forçou em vários momentos. Ainda assim o filme deve agradar o público alvo, por não ousar muito no desfecho e ainda inserir uma pequena surpresa voltada à minoria, o que certamente vai deixar um sorriso em muitos rostos. Eu curti também. Isso apenas mostra que a Netflix ssabe dialogar com seu público, vai inserindo aos poucos, em filmes de comédia romântica despretensiosos como esse, pequenas camadas de drama mais pesado. Eu espero que a Netflix se aprofunde e retrate com verossimilhança cada vez mais os jovens do século XXI. Talvez precise de uma pegada mais visceral ou talvez com mais emoção. Aqui, temos um sentimento bem mais ameno, deixando a trilha compor o seu papel, mas ainda assim meio morno. Quem sabe algum dia lançará uma obra de maior prestígio, está no caminho certo, só falta a história certa. |
