User Review - 6/10 by Bengel WI was a bit disappointed in this, not even close to as good as the Richard Chamberlain version.
User Review - 6/10 by Muffin MIn this retelling of H. Rider Haggard's classic adventure, King Solomon's Mines, Allan Quatermain (Sean Cameron Michael) battles his arch nemesis in his perilous pursuit of the world's greatest treasure. also stars Christopher Adamson, Wittley Jourdan, Natalie Stone, Daniel Bojour, Mduduz Nxumalo, Muzuza, Nick Everhart and Phiwayinkosi Gumede. directed by Mark Atkins.
User Review - 2/10 by Shade CI only made it through about half of the movie--I don't recommend it. It was refreshing that of what I watched, there was no foul language or violence besides a hit or two. The nudity was tribal women. It moved so slow--there were scenes where the three main characters would walk by, and it would take 2 minutes no joke. Not just once but many times. Many unnecessary scenes like that. The sound was hard to hear--there was a part where the three discussed Solomon's treasure, and I couldn't hear parts of it. I even changed the settings on my TV and no luck. The music was painful to listen to; I would rather watch silence than listen to it. The gunfire was digitally added in--they wouldn't even buy blanks, and the sound effects for the gunshots was horrible as well. Cheesy!!
User Review - 2/10 by Dan WShotty at best. pretty horrid otherwise. Sadly, The Saucer Men From Mars was better than this...
User Review - 2/10 by Gary HOMFG, its so bad you have to watch it to the end. This is the second film I have cried at, and it was nothing to do with the story line. I think in the US if you are overheard saying this film is good it is an automatic visit to death row.
User Review - 2/10 by Shany SIt was pretty fair. For deafies only, I mention that it doesn't have neither closed captioning nor subtitle unless African group spoke their own language only. You all should forget this movie because it is boring without closed captioning.
User Review - 2/10 by Jessi OLame, stupid, poorly done. I have never seen a movie that spent so much time just having people starting at each other and grinning. Could they think of nothing to say?? I'm sorry I watched it all the way thru.
User Review - 2/10 by Ian GHi, I have seen this movie, it is very low budget and total waste of time. I was attracted by the colourful title on DVD. But it is the worst movie I have seen. will grade it F grade.
