Metro Times (Detroit, MI)Anita SchmaltzRodriguez depicts addicts as a sea of agitated vultures haunting the streets...counteracted by character confrontations forced to move too quickly and predictable plot turns.
Planet Sick-BoyJon PopickYou'd be hard-pressed to find a better movie about addiction than this debut
Village VoiceLaura SinagraThe opposition of Christian spirituality and the bad religion of drugs is enough to send you down to the feel-good bodega just on principle.
New York Daily NewsElizabeth WeitzmanReeder makes a compelling lost soul, so that even the most soddenly moralistic moments are worth watching.
Salt Lake TribuneSean P. MeansRodriguez' view of addiction from the inside, and Reeder's warts-and-all portrayal of a junkie going over the edge, make for a fascinating film.
Film Journal InternationalEric MonderGenerally competent and contains the heartfelt and persuasive message that judging others is easy, but truly empathizing is hard.

User ReviewJames HAs a recovered addict, this movie really hit home. Anyone who thought this film was boring has never experienced this pain. It was the most accurate film I have ever seen. I watched this last night and I am still thinking about it. Praise God I am clean and sober today. I have never been happier. This is a must see for anyone who has a loved one that is addicted. It is hard for the family to understand what is happening, this will help.
