Leave your thoughts about A Tourist's Guide to Love.
IndieWireSamantha BergesonA Tourist’s Guide to Love is a road map for how to love adventure abroad, with dashes of Vietnamese trivia and spiritual facts along the way.
VarietyCourtney HowardFunny, poignant and simultaneously progressive and regressive, it may not add up to five-star escapism, but it’s a jovial jaunt worth taking.
RogerEbert.comChristy LemireA Tourist’s Guide to Love is as harmless as its blandly forgettable title would suggest. It’s not quite a Movie to Fold Laundry To, because the scenery is quite lovely, so you’ll actually want to pay attention. But it is a pleasant escape if you’re seeking lazy Saturday afternoon viewing.
Screen RantFerdosa AbdiA Tourist's Guide to Love is not remarkable, but its simplicity and familiarity are comfortable and, most importantly, entertaining.
Paste MagazineTara BennettIf Eirene Donohue’s script gave us more scenes to really get to know Amanda and Sinh as fully formed people, maybe A Tourist’s Guide to Love could have been memorable. But there’s really no chemistry, heat, or wit between Cook and Ly.
Los Angeles TimesNoel MurrayThough the movie’s leads are undeniably charming, director Steven K. Tsuchida and screenwriter Eirene Tran Donohue don’t give them much to do that hasn’t been done many times before. What does distinguish their film is its setting
Movie NationRoger MooreA Tourist’s Guide to Love is a lovely Vietnamese travelogue in search of a romantic comedy that would transform the trip into a movie.
The New York TimesElisabeth VincentelliA rom-com that so scrupulously fulfills every cliché of the genre, it might as well have been devised by ChatGPT.
User Reviewhiepthai11315Enjoyed this movie. Many details are handled very well such as Sinh does not try to avoid the fact that he has a large portion of Americans or that he also feels pressure to bring the beauties of Vietnam to tourists. Amanda has a lot of worries and doubts, very reasonable, the broke up scene at with John at the end is also very good, gentle and civilized.
User ReviewRajeev139same old story nothing new, the film only promote one country and travelling
