During a weekend at the family cottage in the woods, Steve, a soft-hearted corporate analyst, gets stung by a zombie killer mosquito right before his wedding with Tina, a bossy beautician. Together with them, is Steve's sister Sarah and her friend Greg, who really wish that Steve will soon come to his senses and realise that Tina is just not good for him. In the meantime, without knowing it, a team of zombie hunters, Max, a cold-blooded exterminator and Penny, a scientist with a blue zombie-tracking orb, are in the same woods looking for the undead. When Steve's pulse will begin to fade while at the same time his appetite for human brains will grow bigger, it will be obvious enough that the change has already begun, however, according to Tina, this will be only a minor setback before the big day. Eventually, Steve as a hybrid with his mutated DNA would help in the cure for the infection, but nevertheless, Max and Penny will still have to pass through Tina who really wants to get married.

Film ThreatMark BellSure, there's gore and some gross-out gags, but for the most part this flick isn't about what's going to scare you next, but more about what'll get the next laugh...
User ReviewDesiree EThis movie is freakin hilarious. I don't really classify it in my cheesy zombie movie category it is something completely different. A lot of small things are said or done that make it even funnier. Watch ALL the way through the credits.
User ReviewJohn KWay funnier than one would expect. Great lines.
User ReviewCharles FDefinitely not your average zombie flick. As a creative spin-off of the genre, it is clever, funny, and entertaining. The special FX are plenty good and the camera work is better than you would expect from such a movie; moreover, the acting is spot-on. Aside from the first few minutes, where the comedy seems banal, the rest of the film is genuinely humorous. We watch as the main character, Steve, undergoes the gradual transformation into becoming a brain-munching zombie during a trip to the woods with his glitzy high-maintenance fiancee, tomboyish sister and her bulging Seann William Scott lookalike husband. There'll all young and good-looking, and they have no idea what awaits them. When Steve gets bitten by an infected mosquito, the hunger starts to take over. The thing is, he's no normal zombie. It so happens that Steve is carrying a resistant strain of the virus, which gives rise to some unexpected side-effects. As mad Max puts it while pointing a gun at Steve's face, "out of all the zombie's I've killed, you're the most human." Max is described by his sexy sidekick as "the muscle" whereas she is presumably the brains. The two of them hunt down and kill the undead using an ancient mystical orb that is a sort of a zombie radar. But the main plot surrounds the other two couples and how they cope with Steve's metamorphosis. It's a decent movie. If you're a fan of the genre, this is a must-see. For everyone else, you can take comfort in the fact that the comedy tag is accurate.
User ReviewJohan FFunny movie not horror at all. Worth while to have a peek at.

User ReviewShantel DFunniest zombie flick I've seen since "Fido"!!
User ReviewPeter PA Little Bit Zombie is a horror comedy that is more comedy than horror, but if you like some zombie in your film this is well worth a look. The story is quite unique in the genre, being one of the rare films that tells the story from the perspective of the main character who is turning into one of the walking undead and how he tries to cope with it. To top it off, he is a week away from his wedding day and his fiance is less than easy going. While I did feel that the film had a bit of a shakey start, it does find it's stride and provides plenty of chuckles along the way. The film has a quirky sense of humour about itself and the cast does a good job of maintaining that slightly off beat feeling. In all, a fun and entertaining film that has a shakey start, but recovers nicely and will provide some laughs and maybe even a few surprises. Grab some Tactical Bacon and check this one out. Well worth it.
User ReviewStacey BWell it was pretty dumb movie but I sure got a lot of good laughs out of it thats for sure just not a zombie movie I seen before they made it more funny then a horror movie
User ReviewAnthony TI will try to give an unbiased opinion on this film but since I drove half the cast to the premier in Montreal I feel it may be a bit hard. The concept reminded me a lot of a little German film called night of the living dorks. It was executed differently so it's still original and very fun
