| User ReviewRonald KBy far one of the best I've seen as far as accuracy, truth, and standing up! I was just in South Dakota speaking with kids on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and Wounded Knee...both of which are covered in this move. Inspiring, amazing, and the trust is shown what the US Gov't has done, and continues to do, to the First Nation. |
| User ReviewJim C1. It was fun, but a bit distracting, to try to identify the various Minneapolis landmarks (that's on Franklin Ave!). 2. A quick Wikipedia search suggests that the documentary left out a lot of stuff; though of course, documentaries have stories to tell. 3. An interesting point in the film was when the judge who sentenced him suggested that had he not fled before his sentencing, the AIM might have grown into something really powerful; instead, with lack of leadership, its effectiveness was diminished. 4. Banks' passion and commitment for his people is clearly evident even today. He walks his talk. |
