User ReviewMaico *It's so old the quality of it is pretty bad but you can't deny that it isn't brilliant. Chaplin was always at his best and this is a prime example of one of his earlier short films. It's a must see for anyone that likes his stuff. And anyone that doesn't must be mad.
User ReviewRyan GAnother one of Chaplin's early shorts made in the easy confines of a movie studio. This was one of the first, but he would come back to the setting occasionally throughout the next few years. The film is a series of largely disconnected gags, though Chaplin shows off some of his unique physical gifts in the scenes with the gun and the fire hose. Amusing, but not all that memorable.
User ReviewLene .I like when Chaplin squeezes the water out of himself.
