We are lifted to another dimension as we connect to the powerful forces of nature embodied in the music of these master musicians. The creative and spiritual freedom of expression these artists display is overwhelming - from Latin rhythms to the wildly original compositions of Kenwood Dennard. Rock, jazz, Latin fusion, soul - these master drummers have backed up the likes of Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Carlos Santana and now - each other. At the center of the film is the warm-hearted Nasyr, and his musician friends who share their knowledge with forty students for this incredible, unforgettable week of music and camaraderie. The overriding philosophy of these musicians is driven by love, compassion and joy of life.

| User ReviewRichard DVery cool drumming doc. which features some of the best drummers on the planet teaching at a Canadian camp for a week. It is great to see the bond that these incredibly talented drummers share with no real competitiveness. The only real downside is that they don't give a whole lot of back story other then through talking, it would have been nice to see some more footage of the drummers in action from their perspective tours, but other then that, this is a must see for any drummer, music fan or person who loves hitting things with sticks. |

Some good interviews and insights into drummers for pop bands, but mostly just wacky beats and sweaty guys sitting on stools. Watched on Netflix on Sam's iPad in her bed (she was napping), January 8, 2017. |
