For the past 33 years Jeremiah Hill has lived alone, with no contact with the outside world, and he intends to keep it that way. Jeremiah's mother had always warned him not to associate with the outside world, and her brutal rape and killing right before his eyes taught him a lesson he intends never to forget; and those who enter his world will pay a deadly price. As Lehman and his five friends from L.A. start their weekend camping trip they run into Tyler Trout and Floyd Fryed who represent the gateway into this distorted world that they are about to enter. These things just don't happen in sheriff Talmidge and deputy Kevin Gordon's small mountain town, and by stumbling upon this lonely cabin in the woods, they have shattered 33 years of solitude in Jeremiah's world... And unbeknownst to Lehman and his friends, soon their weekend trip of hiking and camping will become a nightmare of survival.

User ReviewLindsay BThe only reason I'm rating this 5* is that the directors have done what I have always dreamt of: everyone dies and the murderer lives! Yay! Apart from that, the movie is real crap! But I have to admit that I had fun while watching :p

User ReviewMr DPretty tame and pretty lame. Almost no blood. The rape scene is fully clothed and the worst part is that Mario Lopez isn't killed on screen.
User ReviewDougal SThis is a film that in theory should be getting warmly applauded. On paper there's not much wrong with it. Standard youngsters lost in the backwoods storyline: check. Abandoned shack complete with homicidal resident: check. Reasonable B-list cast and a few bigger stars in cameos: check. Clichéd but at times witty script: check. Lots of killings: check. But what it fails to do is wring any sense of terror or tension from all the standard horror ingredients. The killer is a standard shadowy figure at the outset but we never get the final reveal. The killings are standard but often cut to off-screen at the climax. The protagonists blunder around the woods getting bumped off but there's never any tension or suspense. And when things finally kick off everyone starts acting completely unbelievably (would a sheriff really club someone flagging him down at the roadside and asking for help?) And then it all just ends - there's no final conflict between the killer and the last remaining protagonist. It's just very bland - but perhaps could pass eighty minutes after the pub if you've got nothing better to watch.

User ReviewCheri HGary Busey as the zoophile was pretty funny. The rest was just lame.
User ReviewPrivate UThis was pretty funny. Gary Busey was barely even in it! I don't remember much, but I do remember laughing at how crappy it was. And Mario Lopez is in it, come on, nuff said.
