Buying the severed knob of a (resumably) late superstar introduces our protagonist to the world of extreme kink.A watchable slapstick comedy, definitely! If you're ok with the topics (S/M, Adult Babies, diving suits and godknowswhat), you may even find this flick rather liberating. It definitely has amazing wordplay and at times it is hilarious. Actors are good and some characters just outrageous. Unfortunately, the low budget sometimes shows in continuity and such. The film is also a bit too long for the material. Great fun for a rainy night, also can be taken as an educational film on Welsh approach to kinky stuff. |

An irreverent romp with a plot that revolves around an attempt to sell Tom Jones' severed penis, ABOTJ takes the legend of the sale of a celebrity penis, and smashes it to pieces. Henry is approached by a woman in a pub, who offers him the Welsh singer's cock. Seeing the opportunity to make some quick cash Henry drafts in the help of his slightly more streetwise and dodgy friend Teddy 'Shitfingers'. Shenanigans ensue. The film features a fine cast that also includes the always-brilliant John Henshaw, Torchwood's Eve Myles, Waterloo Road's Denise Welch, Matt Berry of Might Boosh and more, and a welcome appearance by soul legend Geno Washington. In a late night bar, Henry is approached by a mysterious woman who offers to sell him the severed "manhood" of Wales' greatest vocal entertainer Believing he can make a fortune selling the infamous appendage on to obsessive fans, Henry stumps up the cash. To help find the right buyer, Henry teams up with his slightly dodgy best friend Teddy and together the two head off on an insane journey that leads them deep into the secret world of celebrity body part trading. Along the way, they have a fight with a Gorilla, are bubbled bathed by a randy pensioner, kidnapped by adult babies, break into a police station, take a day trip to Belgium to meet the World's biggest dealer of celebrity off-cuts and even get caught up in the slowest Police chase in movie history... ...and all for a bit of Tom Jones?
