TheMovieReport.comMichael DequinaPereira has made a smart and affecting film about a particularly difficult subject.
User ReviewMarcello GA true depiction of teen violence and the attitude to make another fall into anothers trap
User ReviewBrian WPowerful, but disturbing; not for people who can't handle movies with young people dying.

User ReviewDavid Ray GI found this movie absolutely terrific. I'm not sure I can pinpoint what it is about it - from the cinematography to the use of sound/music and the truly amazing script that could be a different twist of the one of Naked and the simplistic and yet so realistic performances to the ironic ending - it's all just so right into place. I have no negative feedback for this movie, even though I wish some elements about it could have been different because at times it borders with self-indulgence. Quite terrific overall. A movie not many people know that delves into the strangest folds of the human inclination towards senseless violence. The protagonist could have been easily named Alex instead of Ryan (see A Clockwork Orange).
User ReviewDan MGiven the budget the movie was on, this is pretty damn good. It's a great illustration of teen violence and the lone rebel being pushed off the edge.
User ReviewDustin RWhat a great flick this is 1 of the 3 View Askew movies that was not directed by Kevin Smith. It is very very low budget and was shot in a very short period of time so some of the camera work was shotty and some of the scenes felt slightly rushed and probably would have been better if they had the time to do it properly. It really brings out the nature of teen violence and it has a great ending. A great drinking game would be to drink every time a View Askew actor comes into a scene ... you would be messy very quickly
User ReviewJames RA surprisingly effective drama, only hampered by the occassional dodgy performance and some amateurish camerawork.
User ReviewMike NI actually like Kevin Smith's ability to write really dark dramas. I think this movie was well written and has interesting themes. Not a legendary film, but good. Though, fans of Clerks and Dogma might have a hard time adjusting to such a contrast in mood- it's pretty serious.
User ReviewPrivate UNot a very well known movie...acting is bad..but the movie turned out to be one of my favorites
