| User ReviewDenise H5 girls...from diverse backgrounds and different ages. Trying to "find themselves" in their cultures, neighborhoods, schools. An excellent documentary that has the girls discussing on-camera their hopes/dreams, and fears as they grow and reach out to life's possibilities. Has a particularly poignant clash between a fundamental Christian father and his gay daughter. Should be required viewing for all children (boys as well as girls) from 5th grade up! Going to buy and donate to my local library as part of their womens' studies media items! |
