In the year 2033, Mexico has become a fascist state. As the upper classes partake in debauched parties and amuse themselves by using the poor for target practice, a highly addictive drink called Pactia keeps the working class under control. Meanwhile, the religious minority forms a resistance movement, and finds an unlikely ally in the guise of privileged military brat Pablo. Despite his sheltered upbringing, Pablo knows the difference between good and evil. And once a line is drawn in the sand, he is compelled to turn against everything he's ever known in the fight for the future of humanity.

User Review - 8/10 by Jose CGreat to see the future of Mexico City...
User Review - 6/10 by Francisco MA quite interesting (despite nothing new at all, except it is from Mexico) story premise being executed in a not so interesting way, plus a very illogical, abrupt conscious-recovery from the protagoist plot hole. Alrightee in general.
User Review - 4/10 by Rafæl MI read one of the reviews here about Catholic propaganda, didn't really believe it...though the screenplay is heavily narrow in it's focusing in as a futurist interpretation of the aftermath of the Cristero War/La Cristiada. I will give credit though in what *could* have been an interesting idea of how our future is headed with mass consumerism, corporative domination, drug induced indifference to social problems...but really their portrayal of a future Mexico City was so simplistic, social problems really just reduced to poverty and insurgence (which kept being amalgamated as the same thing :-/). The characters were all one-dimensional, acting and directing really more in line for a telenovela and commercials. And it turns out, that the resistance to the apparent corporate Mexican dictatorship utopia is in fact an underground group of lay clergy. Um, so what about the Catholic church outside Mexico? The story is rather predictable, pretentious, and spoon-fed that really follows the Hollywood model, though of made-for-tv movie quality. Though the SFX were the best I've seen so far in an exclusively Mexican production, and the designs for future Mexico City; while perhaps ripping off THX, Logan's Run and steampunk sci-fi; were pretty well done. However, none of the glitz can help a mediocre script and sub-par acting and direction.
User Review - 4/10 by Karloso MMuy inconsistente en varias cosas.
