7M PicturesKevin CarrIt's silly and it's fun, and it actually plays better than most of the Asylum knock-offs.
User ReviewAndreas OWorse than youâ(TM)d think, and made absurd by some arcane references to Melvilleâ(TM)s novel. In other words it is a laugh a minute shitfest.
User ReviewDerek JThe best movie I've ever seen where a whale eats a helicopter. Bostwick is awesome.
User ReviewWalter LC'mon folks, obviously this movie wasn't meant to be taken seriously. For what it is, it's funny enough. (A comedically bad horror movie.)
User ReviewRyan KSaw it on NetFilx...I laughed...didn't know it was supposed to be horror. 3.5 stars for being funny.
User ReviewAdam FSometimes the CGI was good, other times I swear I could have done a better job. I don't know what I was expecting. Other than a giant whale.
User ReviewMarc LCheesy, unbelievable and I hate how they kept changing the relative size of the creature ...
User ReviewMalcolm GBarry Bostwick is the only real reason to watch this. Everything else, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING. It's that same Syfy channel original movie type of boredom that makes you wish you were watching something that was made with much more skill. Aside from a mildly amusing Opening title sequence, the only bit of enjoyment that you will ever get out of this snooze fest is Barry Bostwick as Captain Ahabb. He is simply amazing, he delivers his lines with such fearlessness and boldness that you believe every word of silly, nonsensical dialogue coming out of his mouth. He seems to be the only professional on board that's actually giving everything he's got out of this performance even though he's given such ridiculous dialogue, and his character's story arc is just laughable. If you ever do decide to watch this movie, only go into it knowing that Barry Bostwick is going to fight a giant whale and deliver some of the most wonderfully meaningless dialogue that you will ever hear in your life.

User ReviewDeven PThe Asylum once again proves to be the sloppiest movie "studio", and even though this junk is slightly better than the others, Moby Dick may be one of the worst films of all-time!
