Barry Thomas is the average office worker. He becomes attracted to Lisa Fredericks who works in the same company. After work, Barry witnesses the murder of Lisa and goes to a bar to get drunk. | User ReviewLaurence HA film about the same day repeating over and over that came out the same year as Groundhog Day was bound to be over-shadowed, especially when it doesn't have the star factor of Bill Murray. But while Groundhog Day plays as a comedy and character redemption story, 12:01 is a serious sci-fi story and thriller. Having said that 12:01 does have a romantic element and some really funny moments too. This is a real unsung gem and well worth watching. Highly recommended. |

Yo alquilé la cinta en su momento, en vhs, ya que aparecía Helen Slater, que desde "Supergirl" me hice fan de ella. Este es un filme que funciona tanto como cinta romántica como película de ciencia ficción. Jonathan Silverman y Helen Slater hacen buena química. El filme cuenta con cameos interesantes como Martin Landau y Danny Trejo. Evidentemente que aparezca Helen Slater hizo que mi opinión sobre el filme se endulzara, pero creo que realmente la trama funciona bien y es muy entretenida. Muy recomendada. |
| User ReviewGordon CI first saw this in my teens & I loved it. I even had the wisdom to record it on tape. I wore it tape out watching it so much. I rented it on DVD from Netflix it was great to see it again. Much like Groundhog Day the movie is one where an office worker lives out a day over & over trying to save a woman he admires from afar. |
| User ReviewJulia AI loved this film. It was like the earlier more articulate version of Groundhog Day. It was quirky, funny, and had a great storyline which also provided a reason for the never-ending day. Despite its low budget it was excellently executed and gets 5 stars from me! |
