Film Journal InternationalDaniel EaganRather than enhance the music, the filmmakers' efforts trivialize it, turning it into the equivalent of politically correct screensavers.
User ReviewJim MThis movie was totally amazing and blows the doors off of any concept you have of a documentary. Duncan and Jamie have put together the movie in 9 broad themes ranging from faith, inspiration, masks, and sex and have brought to the forefront many of the philosophies and music of African, Indian, Maori, European and North American culture.
User ReviewRachel JA HUGE thanks to Jamie Catto. Wonderful job on this movie. Not only does it show you all of the flaws in the world, it shows you the beauty of the world too. It's amazing, and somewhat motivational. You really want to get out and help aboriginals in New Zealand after this movie. While combining sounds from around the world as a soundtrack, they also combine diffrent ideas of art, music, dance, and religion. This movie will open your eyes, or something like it.
User ReviewMemo PExcelente trabajo! Uno de mis favoritos la exploración de distintos ámbitos humanos (amor, religión, poder ...) ligados por culturas distintas y por musica de diferentes lugares del planeta
User ReviewDavid BIf it weren't for the interviews with Tom Robbins and Kurt Vonnegut, I'd say his is worth watching for the music. But there are interviews with Tom Robbins and Kurt Vonnegut! And many others riffing on the spiritual and profane, mixed in with musical performances from all over the globe mixed together.

User ReviewEvelyn MThis movie makes you love people and life again
User ReviewAlicia NThe very definition of food for thought, this media project will definitely blow your mind and open your eyes to the world around you.
User ReviewTessa RABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! A fantastic documentary made by musicians who tour the world talking to various philosophers and musicians....it's about saving the world, religion, sex, etc...greatly presented and accompanied by terrific world/fusion music (also a CD...included in a particular 250 GB hard drive, btw, first album in the lot). I am currently brainwashing everyone I know to watch this...and can't wait for their up-coming follow up doc later this year!
