Rudolf Krause was born in 1964 in Karlsruhe, Germany. Rudolf Krause (born 1964 in Karlsruhe) is a German actor. Rudolf Krause was born in 1964 in Karlsruhe, Germany, and lived there until he was eight years old. Then the family moved to Hanover. Through his music teacher, a contact with the Statisterie of the Opera house of Hanover came to be. In small roles, he gained first experiences on stage and appeared in many music theatre productions, taken part with the Directors Herbert Wernicke and artistic Director Hans-Peter Lehmann. He decided for the acting training he received at the Berlin University of the arts. After that, he was engaged for a year at the schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, and then at the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord in Wilhelmshaven. He then worked for free - in Berlin, in Vienna and Zurich, in drama, dance and music theater productions, among others at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater, the Berliner Ensemble, the neukölln Opera, the Fasson Theater in Zurich and more and more often in television productions. For six years, he did improvisational theater and joined in the Chamäleon-Varieté in Berlin and as a guest of the Impro theatre ensemble, The Gorillas. Since then, he has taught different forms of Improvisation, as well as roles and scene work as a lecturer at the Michael Tschechow Studio Berlin. He is a member of the Freyer-ensemble, of the painter, Director and stage designer Achim Freyer and worked with him in productions at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Staatsoper unter den Linden, and most recently in 2013 at the musical theatre Linzin 'Cage Stage', a project with the works and ideas of John Gage, along with musicians desBrucknerorchesters Linz and conductor Dennis Russell Davies. Rudolf Krause was for his role as chief inspector André Langner in the pilot movie Hidden game in the crime series under suspicion in 2002 for the German television award in the category Best actor in a supporting role nominated and, in 2003, along with writer Alexander Adolph, film Director Friedemann Fromm and the actors Senta Berger and Gerd Anthoff with the Adolf-Grimme-prize.
