Philippe Barassat learns the craft of the writer and goes to work some time with us, before returning to France. The director sends a model to be Canal+, which had at first rejected the scenario. These are packaged and finance the rest of the sequences in turn. The film having a lot of success overseas and in the various festivals where it is selected, it is also a success critically. This was followed by Transit (1999) and The Elephants of the planet Mars (2000) with Arielle Dombasle, whose original idea came from a drawing by Tim Burton, now in the collection of The sad end of the little Oyster boy and other stories.
