Olga Khodatayeva was born in 1894 in Moscow, Russian Empire. Olga Petrovna Hodataeva — Soviet film Director of animation, writer, artist of animated films. Sister Soviet multiplier N. P. Hodataeva (1892-1979). After graduating in 1918, the school of painting, sculpture and architecture in Moscow, worked as a graphic designer, schedule. In 1924 came to animation, worked in a team multimasters at the SCC under the guidance of his brother, and later in the factories "Mezhrabpom-Rus", "Sovkino" ("Soyuzkino", "Mosfilm"). From 1927 to 1932 he worked in the creative team of the sisters Valentina and Zinaida Brumberg.
