Gustavo Spolidoro was born in 1972 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. A degree in marketing and Advertising at the pontifical catholic university of rio grande do sul in 1996. He stood out, from 1998, as a director of short films, inventive and award-winning in many national festivals. In 2004, he co-founded with three other young filmmakers from rio grande do sul, the production company portoalegrense the Club in Silence. He was the executive producer of "a Dog without a master" (2007), by Beto Brant. Since 2005, he is also one of the organizers of the festival - "Cine-Layout-New". At the end of 2008, and resigned from the company to the Club in Silence, which continued as a production company is responsible for the release of the film "Still Orangutans".
