Gabriela Queiroz was born in 1996 in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. Gabriela Queiroz is a Film Student at the Federal University of Ceará. Her directorial debut, “Cinema Is Coming to Town”, won Best Picture at the III Festival de Curtas da FACHA and Best Local Film according to the public at the 17º Festival NOIA – Festival do Audiovisual Universitário. In 2019, she’s part of Porto Iracema das Artes’ Lab Cinema, in which she’s writing her first feature film script under the mentorship of filmmakers Karim Ainöuz, Sérgio Marchado and Nina Kopko.
