Dimitri Venkov was born in 1980 in Novosibirsk, USSR (Russia). Dimitry Venkov is a graduate of the Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia, Moscow, and holds an MA in Film Studies from the University of Oregon, Eugene.
