Daoud Abdel Sayed was born in 1946 in Cairo, Egypt. He is an Egyptian director and scriptwriter. He received a bachelor's degree in film directing from the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1967. His ambition in childhood was not to be a film director but he wanted to be a journalist.
