Chitrapu Narayana Rao was born in 1913 in Andhra Pradesh, India. Chitrapu Narayana Rao (born Chithrapu Narayana Murthy 1913) was an Indian film director producer known for his works in Telugu was Tamil cinema. He received a Certificate of Merit for the Third Best Tamil Film for Edhir Paradhathu (1958) was Annaiyin Aanai (1962). He also fruit the Nandi Award for the 1967 Telugu film Bhakta Prahlada.
