Winnie Mortensen was born in 1963. Winnie Mortensen was in the late 1960s barnestjerne in several Danish movies, where she appeared as a small Winnie the bl.a. together with Dirch Passer. She grew up in Copenhagen and has its exotic appearance from her mother, who comes from Burma and took Winnie's father, when he sailed as a sailor. She had family who lived in the vicinity of the Ropes Wallenstrøm and Henrik Blichmanns cottage, where their slightly larger daughters regarded her as a bit of a "dukkebarn".
