René Hofschneider was born in 1960 in Detmold. Hofschneider grew up with his two brothers in Berlin. His brother Marco Hofschneider was also an actor. As an extra and supporting actor Hofschneider, 1977, came up in 1982, the Public spectacle of Berlin on stage under the direction of Hans Lietzau and Boy Gobert.
