Josefina Díaz was born in 1891. One of the great ladies of the theater in the first third of the TWENTIETH century, contemporary of Margarita Xirgu and Rosario Pino. Daughter of the actors Concepción González and Manuel Díaz de la Haza, and sister of the actor Manuel Díaz González. Was formed in the Company of María Guerrero and Fernando Díaz de Mendoza, with whom she premiered, among others, The lady with an ermine (1922), deLuis Fernández Ardavín and The range of Lady Windermere(1920), by Oscar Wilde.
