Married from 1958 to 1964 the belgian director Ivan Govar, she became the wife of the filmmaker Alain Cavalier, devoted to a film released in 2009, Irene. She was among the 343 women who, in 1971, has publicly stated in the Manifesto of the 343 will be made to abort.
