Georges Clemenceau was born in 1841 in Mouilleron-en-Pareds, France. Georges Benjamin Clemenceau, né le 28 septembre 1841 à Mouilleron-en-Pareds (Vendée) and died on November 24, 1929 in Paris, was a French statesman, radical, socialist, chairman of the Board from 1906 to 1909, and from 1917 to 1920. Coming from a family of notable republican, he is the mayor of the 18th arrondissement of Paris and then president of the municipal council of Paris at the beginning of the Third Republic, as well as a member of parliament in 1871, and from 1876 to 1893, serving as a republican radical. Advocate of amnesty for the Communards and anti-clerical, he advocated tirelessly for the separation of church and State and opposes the colonization, bringing down the government of Jules Ferry on this issue. Founder of the journal, The Justice and the Society of the rights of man and of the citizen, then he works at Dawn and takes an active part in the defense of captain Dreyfus.
