Fransined was born in 1914 in Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. Although he is the brother of Fernandel, their filmographies respective have no film in common. Usually, his roles were limited to silhouettes (for example the florist in Jean de Florette and Manon des sources), or especially of the figurative, and rare were the films in which he had roles consistent (as in The great java, Philippe Clair). And his filmography is very abundant (over 200 movies), but his name was usually never in the credits of a movie, or the more often it was only visible for a few seconds, difficult to be spotted by film buffs. He appeared often playing of the tenants or customers of a bar ; or postman, by a police officer or a gendarme, in florist soldier. But more often, Fransined was contained. He served first tour (as a singer) in the cabarets. At the beginning of his career, in the 1930s, it was comical trooper as had been his brother. He often came up of "one-man shows", or it was in the scene with his banter southern. He has participated in several drives and has also released a disc of covers of the hit songs of his brother at the end of the 1970s. He sang "the tango of blood", a song by Bob Cary and P. Lemel. If it was not running the movies with Fernandel, it was just the fact that he wanted to conduct his career on his side. Most importantly, he did not want to be promoted but to build his career on his only nickname, with what he had to offer at the level of the show and with his talent. He appreciated, however much his brother staying in his shadow, can-do attitude. However, the weight of Fernandel, immensely popular, the eclipsed and generally Fransined was not known to the general public. It accommodated perfectly for this situation. Except for including two films by Claude Berri released in 1986-1987, his filmography a short film highlight of the film, but many films are mediocre or, at best, very average, the so-called "nerdy", by the critical (example : "Adam is...Eve" by René Gaveau, 1953). Fransined was also a singer, and sang, usually covers of songs of Fernandel or Vincent Scotto : he went out several discs between 1966 and 1978. In 1968, the MIDEM and the académie des Césars du Cinéma the classa actor and singer the more misunderstood of France. Fransined has also worked in advertising : from the 1960s to 2012, he participated in many commercials (product of interviews, washing machine, etc...). In 2012, he turned his last spot for the mineral water Salvetat.
