Floor Jansen was born in 1981 in Goirle, North Brabant, Netherlands. Interested in music since being a young girl on Floor gets in After Foreverall'the age of 16 years, when, i.e., has not yet taken their musical studies. At 18, determined to improve their vocal techniques, he began studying at the Rock Academy, a sort of conservatory aimed at those who play light music. Three years after he graduated, however, due to the incredible talent but also the continuous desire to improve, he decided to continue studying and starts to take courses in opera singing at the conservatory. Also, in 2003 he won a prize for young talents in the Netherlands that allows you access to the Music Theater, a renowned conservatory in the netherlands that exclusively accepts 10 to 15 students per year. Currently Floor, as well as use in his band, and is currently engaged in the study of opera singing at the conservatory of music and in teaching a course she created herself, called "Wanna Be A Star?". A year after the split of After Forever, which happened in February of 2009, the Floor has founded a new band, ReVamp, whose debut album was released in Europe on June 4, 2010. In 2012, after the separation of Nightwish singer Anette Olzon, Floor Jansen replaces, temporarily, the Swedish singer in the band's tour. The 9 October 2013 was announced his stay in the group by the other members of the band.
