Einar Juhl was born in 1896 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Einar Johannes Juhl was the son of the vicar Niels Juhl and wife Eleonora Josefine Winther. He was a pupil of Emmanuel Larsen and Thorkild Roose and entered The royal Danish Theatre elevskole 1917-1919. He was in the years 1919-20 at the Odense Theatre where he the 3. september 1919 made her debut as a Hutter in "A sparrow in the tranedans". Later, he came to dagmar theatre and was in 1924 with the start of the Danish Skolescene. From 1937 to 1943, he played no less than 73 significant roles at Aarhus Theatre, where he also worked as a stage director. In 1944, he gave guest performances at the Odense Theatre as Dr. Paprika in the "Who I am". Since he worked at the copenhagen theatres, fol.a. Komediehuset and The new Theater, and from 1955 at The Royal Danish Theatre, where he bl.a. had the role of Petronius in "the waverer / The weathercock" in 1962 and, among many other good roles marked as titular councillor of state, Herming in the "Within the Walls" in a strong interaction with Poul Reumert. His specialty were the roles of the strong authorities. He was a skilled and careful teacher of young talents and got so many into elevskoler, he was called Skuespillerfabrikanten last in the 1950s. He staged many performances in Odense, as well as on The new Theater, for touring theatres and on radio.On film, he starred bl.a. in "When the cock crows", "The red meadows" and many more.
