Davy Sardou was born in 1978 in Boulogne-Billancourt - Hauts-de-Seine - France. Davy Sardou is a French actor born on 1 June 1978 in Boulogne-Billancourt. Born into a family of artists, he is the son of Michel Sardou and Elisabeth Haas, called Babette, the grandson of actors Fernandet Jackie Sardou, the brother of the novelist Romain Sardou, and the great-grandson of the artist Valentin Sardou. In 1998, he follows courses of theatre in New York, to the institute Lee Strasberg, he also attends sessions of the Actors Studioavec Harvey Keitel and Ellen Burstyn. He started his career in 1998 at the theatre in a staging of Robert Castle theatre Sanford Meisner with The Creditors by August Strindberg. It is also seen in the same year in The Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov at the Pantheon Theater. In 2001, he returned to France and played in several theatre pieces for success : Copy/Paste by Jean-Marie Chevret authéâtre Michel, Arsenic and old lace by Joseph Kesselring and directed by Thierry Harcourt, Oscar, at the théâtre du Gymnase and with his father in family Secret by Éric Assous, at the théâtre des Variétés. In 2010, he played in Léocadia by Jean Anouilh in theater 14 at the sides of Geneviève Casile and Noémie Elbaz. To note that in 2004, he composed the music for the song Hope for his father on the album pleasure. In 2011, Davy was nominated for a Molière for his performance in The Navel of Jean Anouilh. After The Dream of a summer night by William Shakespeare, directed by Nicolas Briançon, at the Théâtre de la Porte-Saint-Martin in 2011, he played in 2012 in The Lark by Jean Anouilh, staged by Christophe Lidon at the Théâtre Montparnasse and the théâtre du CADO d'orléans. In 2013 and 2014, he has played alongside Francis Huster in The Confrontation of Bill C. Davis at the Théâtre Rive Gauche, a piece for which he won the Moliere of the actor in a second role. It occurs regularly on the scenes of both French and foreign, as well as in various films. With his wife, the actress Noémie Elbaz, they became the parents of Lucy, born on June 13, 2013.
