Christopher Seaman was born in 1942 in Faversham, England, UK. Christopher Seaman is a famed British orchestral conductor. He has conducted alongside a multitude of international orchestras. Seaman was also the musical director of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in Rochester, New York, USA from 1998-2011, after which he was awarded the prestigious title of conductor laureate. He is still the longest serving conductor of the RPO with a tenure of 13 years.
